Hepburn Distillery began with the idea of LOCAL - working with the wonderful producers in our region to create spirits that are totally UNIQUE. As the new owners, we are determined to continue this legacy.
Wherever we can, we source local, seasonal and organic ingredients to give our premium gins and vodkas their full-bodied flavours.
SUSTAINABILITY is at the heart of every decision we make from the food miles of our ingredients to the rainwater collected from our roof that we use in all our products and processes. We also feed the leftover pulp from our potato vodka and whiskey to local pigs.
To offset our carbon emissions we also support 15 Trees, who plant trees through Victorian Landcare groups.
We are a family owned and run distillery, with our 4 adult children (and Maisie the dog) often helping out. What you drink has been lovingly created from a passion for quality, flavour and the beautiful region we call home.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
The majority of distilleries in Australia make their products by buying in bulk alcohol, diluting and flavouring it. At Hepburn Distillery we believe that every part of the distilling process makes a difference. That is why we ferment and distil all our own alcohol from scratch using organic ingredients (where we can) and rainwater.
All our products are triple-distilled for smoothness and many are steeped for months and years to impart the full flavour that we know you love.
If high-street alcohol brands are white bread - we are the equivalent of an artisan sourdough bakery. We test and balance each batch we make to ensure it is of the highest quality - that’s why we make premium spirits.

Our 2025 Lyonville Sloe Gin is now SOLD OUT online.
Harvested by hand and steeped with patience, last year’s foraged sloes will be bottled following our late-February harvest, bringing our decadent Lyonville Sloe to life.
We look forward to sharing this next release with you in early March, alongside a beautifully updated label. Stay tuned!

Crafted carefully with local organic oranges, this much-loved gin is preparing for it’s next chapter. We’re excited to reintroduce it with a new name and beautifully refreshed label, while staying true to the warming citrus character you know and love.
